About Us
Western Valve was established in 1991 by Pat and
Deanna Murray - in Bakersfield, California . The
company started as a regional repair and remanufacturing
facility specializing in industrial valves.
Today the plant incorporates modern computerized manufacturing cells and
utilizes the latest manufacturing practices to ensure the highest quality
positive sealing valve in the industry.
The growth of the double block and bleed market is relative to the need
for pipeline integrity and the increased demand for fuel, due to population
growth. Alternate transportation routes, such as underground pipelines,
substantially reduce highway traffic from fuel trucks and the safety hazards
they produce. The DAN-EX valve is also seeing an increased demand in the
standard and military aviation fueling industry. Since purchasing the DAN-EX
line, Western Valve has shipped valves and valve parts within the United
States, as well as exporting to 24 different countries.
